I was very lucky to be able to buddy up with Doug Simmons. I haven't dove with him and thought he would be perfect to buddy up with and to start collecting data for GUE's Project Baseline. Besides, I got to see Eleanor. Anywho... We decided since we had our scooters to visit all the sites and collect data. Worm Patch, Hole in the Wall, Lone Metridium, Sea Mount, End of Middle Reef, Granite Point Wall. I clipped on my data slate and attached my GoPro and off we went. All the usually suspect were present. At Granite Point Wall, there were three large anenomes eating a long salp chain. They were sharing the meal!! Lot of juvenile rockfish at the end of Granite Point Wall. Barnacles are still covering the reefs! Although we were not visited by the friendly harbor seal, we did get visited by a 3 rainbow perch, 2 pile perch, and a Gopher Rockfish at the worm patch on the way into the cove.

I inputted the data into the software for BAUE's project baseline and it is very very easy! Now all I need to do is download some video!! :-)

Fun day of diving. Thanks Doug and please thank Felicity for letting you come out to play.
