We were the only team on the BAUE Boat today, but were all happy to get in water considering the streak of bad weather we've had the last couple months. Although fog and rough seas confined our dive choices to the Bay, we had good training conditions (15' vis and totally dark water at the bottom, 1' vis on deco) and saw some interesting nudibranchs on the dive. These included a large Tochuina tetraquarta munching on a gorgonian, and an enormous (at least 12" long) Pleurobranchia Californica out on the sand a bit north of the reef. |
