We believe that Global Underwater Explorers currently provides the best education available. We strongly support their education efforts and encourage all members to seek training through GUE.

For a full list of current instructors see the instructor database. Alberto (Beto) Nava, Robert Lee and Susan Bird are local BAUE members and can teach Recreational 1, Fundamentals, and primer classes. Beto also teaches Recreational 3 and Tech 1 classes. For more advanced classes (Tech 2) we can bring in another instructor.

Prospective students should check the GUE class schedules and individual instructor web sites. (Note: you must be logged into the GUE website to use this feature.) If you can't find a local class that fits your schedule, please reach out to the instructors directly as many classes are scheduled to meet demand
